Gio`s Italian in Tampa

Went for lunch, got quite cold answer, they closed for lunch already. It was just 1 PM. It says on our Google search that they supposed to open till two. How can they stay in business like this?

Went from one of the best meals I had to the absolutely worst meal I have paid for. Felt like I just took 40 something dollars and flushed it down the drain.

This is a family favorite! We frequently go to Gios, at least once a month, and the food is always amazingly delicious and they always go above and beyond with their quality service!

Lunchtime is great. I think the portions are a bit too large for lunch if you consider that a problem. Overall, I was quite impressed with the unassuming restaurant. The location leaves a bit to be desired. The food was good. I can't say outstanding however. I had the item of the day which was a beef ravioli with cheese tortellini and bolognese sauce. There were four normal (1 inch square) sized ravioli and the rest was tortellini. The price was great (around $15) for a small salad, pasta and a soda. I will be returning to try something new.

My friend and I was able to share a wonderful meal at this great Tampa Italian restaurant. The staff treat their patrons with great respect and the food is fantastic. You definitely get what you pay for!

Took my coworkers out for our Christmas party. Service was great. Food exceptional! Didn't feel rushed because they needed our table. A nice ambiance with the piano player.

The food was good. I've been there for lunch and now dinner. The dinner prices are almost doubled but the waiter told me the dish was bigger for dinner. He wasn't kidding the dish is bigger but the serving is the same size as the lunch.

The food, service, and atmosphere were phenomenal.

Omg, I loved the lasagna with vodka sauce. I totally recommend it. Good portion as well and fresh baked bread. Good selection of wine as well. Will totally visit again. 😍

Excellent! This is a hidden gem that I'm so glad I found. Food is authentic and excellent - sorry I missed this for nearly 15 years of living close by.

Our 1st time here, it was a surprise for my birthday. Staff was very nice, every dish from appetizers to dinner & dessert were cooked to perfection & fresh. Gios we want to thank you for making it an extra special night -:)

This place is a hidden gem. Food was excellent. Service was excellent.

This is a good Italian restaurant. With the Pandemic social distancing and masks are the Norm now. I ordered the lasagna and while I waited the waiter brought out warm baked bread and hard butter. The portion of the lasagna was less than I expected and read them red sauce it was Orange. The food was good just not the type of Italian I am familiar with. The owner played piano while we dined. Service was good and he filled my water whenever he got close to empty.

The desert is delicious and I recommend the lasagna. The place is a little small but that's not a bad thing unless it gets really packed

Incredibly slow and poor service. Restaurant seemed highly understaffed. Food was okay, but nothing worth going out of your way for.
